Linux-Specific Constant Enumerations

This module contains all constant enumerations of the Linux-specific encapsulations, e.g. LinuxSLL. Available enumerations include:

Linux_ARPHRD

Linux ARP Hardware Types [*]

ARP Hardware Types

This module contains the constant enumeration for Linux ARP Hardware Types, which is automatically generated from pcapkit.vendor.linux.arphrd.ARPHRD.

class pcapkit.const.linux.arphrd.ARPHRD(*values)[source]

Bases: EnumRegistry, aenum.IntEnum

[ARPHRD] Linux ARP hardware types [<linux/if_arp.h>]

__proto_dest__ = (('pcapkit.protocols.link.linux_sll', 'LinuxSLL'),)

Protocol class(es) owning the __proto__ dispatch registry keyed by this enumeration, read by register_protocol_code() to resolve a bare member of it into its destination(s). The classes are named as lazy ModuleDescriptor references rather than imported, because pcapkit.const sits below pcapkit.protocols and importing one from here would be circular.

NETROM = 0

NET/ROM pseudo.

FRAD = 770

Frame Relay Access Device

IPGRE = 778

GRE over IP

IEEE80211_RADIOTAP = 803

IEEE 802.11 with radiotap header

IP6GRE = 823

GRE over IPv6

Kernel Netlink socket

classmethod _validate_value(value)[source]

Reject value unless it passes the range check _missing_() makes.

Overrides _validate_value() with that check and the message it raises, so register() refuses exactly the values get() refuses, in the same words (#1816).

Parameters:

value (Any) – Value about to be looked up or minted.

Raises:

EnumValueError – If value fails that check. A ValueError, so an except ValueError caller is unaffected.

classmethod _missing_(value)[source]

Lookup function used when value is not found.

Parameters:

value (int) – Value to get enum item.

Return type:

ARPHRD
